Preski's Goal Lifts Bloomsburg

SHIPPENSBURG -- Kristine Preski (Pottstown/Owen J. Roberts) scored the game-winning goal in 106th minute of play to lift the Bloomsburg University women's soccer team to a 2-1, two overtime win over Shippensburg on Saturday.

Preski's goal came with after the teams were tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation and through the first overtime.

Bloomsburg got on the board first in the game when Lauren Hess (East Greenville (Upper Perkiomen) scored off a Preski assist at the 6:54 mark. Shippensburg tied the game at 1-1 in the 15th minute when Amanda Greenawalt scored for the Lady Raiders.

From there the defense for both teams took over before Preski got the game-winner in the second extra period.

The Huskies, 11-3, 6-2 in the PSAC, will play at East Stroudsburg on Tuesday.
